From 11 to 14 September 2025, the Güterschuppen Glarus will be transformed into a meeting place for culture, exchange and social dialogue. Dīwān Glarus will bring together theatre, film, dance and art from Lebanon, Syria and Palestine and beyond.

dīwān - the Arabic word for a literary and social gathering place - is emblematic of the festival: a space for creative encounters, collective reflection and new narratives. Participatory formats encourage conversations about migration, conflicts and the diversity of the Levant region.

The aim is to open up new perspectives, promote dialogue, and highlight social issues through culture.
